Replacing proprietary bubblesheets with Assign2

Published on: 2022-10-19 by Edufide

Assign2 can handle both long-form and multiple-choice questions, making it a powerful and cost-effective alternative to traditional bubble sheet systems.

Setting Up a Multiple-Choice Exam

When creating your exam as an ‘In-person Exam’, you can designate specific questions as multiple-choice. For each of these questions, you will provide the correct answer (e.g., A, B, C, D, E) in the question setup area.

You can print the exam booklet directly from Assign2, which will include formatted areas for students to mark their answers.

Scanning and Automatic Grading

After the exam, scan the completed tests just like any other in-person exam. When you upload the scans, Assign2’s computer vision technology reads the students’ marked answers.

The multiple-choice questions are graded automatically against the answer key you provided. The results are instantly available, saving you hours of manual checking or the need for a special scanning machine.

  • Flexible: Easily mix multiple-choice questions with long-form written questions in the same exam booklet.
  • Integrated: All grading and analytics are in one place. You can analyze item performance for your multiple-choice questions just as you would for written questions.
  • Digital Record: A digital copy of every student’s exam is stored securely.
